I turned 23..

.. yesterday which was 7 days after Ching Chung's, 5 days after Pak Wan's, 4 days after BIGBANG's T.O.P.'s 22nd and Naresh's, 3 days after BoA Kwon's (still cannot believe she's my age and yet she's so much more successful than I am), 2 days after Ikmal's and a day before Se7en's 25th (which is today LOL)!

Yesterday Park Bom of 2NE1 had her first solo performance for You and I, a song which always makes me want to cry after watching the video. I don't know why but she looks so.. kesian. You know what I mean. Especially in this performance, she looks like she can just burst into tears anytime!

But she's so adorable!

And BIGBANG performed 声をきかせて on CDTV! Gosh looking at the 2 little animated hosts reminded me of the days where I used to watch Orange Range's performances on the same show! ='(

I likey T.O.P's hat!

Anyways, was out for lunch with my friends in Jaya 33's d'italiane kitchen to celebrate Justin's belated and the November kids' birthdays (Pak Wan, Ikmal, me and Tien Ming)!
Sorry no food photos, but do check out the reviews for the food there here and here, but overall the food are quite good!

Went out for a family dinner and had crabs and venison! =D

Tried soju for the first time - one with 19% alcohol. However, I don't quite enjoy it. It's a bit diluted for me. Next time will try the ones with higher alcohol content. =P

Got my first ever BIGBANG stuff thanks to my sister!

=D

Must show you what's inside. *fangirl mode*

Can you imagine my excited-ness when I got this? My first ever BIGBANG stuff! Weeeeee!~ Oh and The Time Traveler's Wife is from big bro. I was secretly planning to get it after reading a good review from one of the newspapers and then "Tada!". Macam he can read my mind pulak. Hee.

So how do I feel turning 23?

. . . .

I don't really feel much. Hahaha. I guess it's just another day for me, but it was great getting all the superb birthday wishes from my friends and the people I know.

To sum it up, by 23 I:

- graduated with a degree after 3 years of slaving myself (half-heartedly)
- fell in love, fell out of love
- discovered that I like
BIGBANG and funny Korean variety TV shows
- did some things that I'm not proud of, some I regretted doing, and hopefully will never do them again
- made new friends, lost some friends (unintentionally)
- realised that high-top sneakers are awesome to a point that I want to own a pair or two (or three or four why not make it five or six?)
- want to start reading back again
- and what else ah?

Anyways, hope to be able to start working by next year, and hope to improve myself physically, mentally and socially. Oh and financially. Don't want to rely much on my parents, although they don't mind.

And hope to be able to start traveling solo. =D

Thanks for everything you people! God bless y'all!

Let me hear your voice.

I know I haven't done this for quite a long time - giving birthday wishes to my favourite artistes.

Today is BIGBANG's eldest member, T.O.P.'s birthday!

I sound like a fangirl.
And everyone must be thinking that T.O.P. is my favourite BIGBANG member but
NONONO.. G-Dragon catches my eye the most.

But T.O.P. is a special dude. And I like special dudes.

=) Love his voice~

And anyways, today is the release date for BIGBANG's latest Japanese single, 声をきかせて, which is used as the opening theme for a Japanese drama titled おひとりさまOhitorisama.

There's something about this song which I think really suits the Japanese market, so I think it'll do well. It has a feel-good melody, and the rap parts by G-Dragon and T.O.P. are in English, just like ガラガラGO!. Except this new single is more of a love song.

Here's the video (ohmygod my blog is loaded with BIGBANG now, just like how it used to be loaded with Orange Range :P):

Happy Birthday T.O.P. and Congratulations to BIGBANG! =D

I. I. I.

I don't even know what I'm reading.

I long for another BIG bite of Carl's Jr. Portobello Mushroom Burger.

Or a serving of banana leaf rice. With extra Papadams.

I'm watching Family Outing with T.O.P. in it. My 3rd time. (aigo so cutela!)

Photo from iBigBang's TOP Gallery

[UPDATED] I just have to put this. Skip till around 3:00 for BIGBANG's TOP's and Daesung's first impressions showdown. Damn hilarious I had to repeat over and over and over *cue 2PM's Again & Again* again and again and again and again..

Family Outing episode 34, Guest: BIGBANG's TOP

Haha.

I should go to sleep because I'm going out at 0600 hrs tomorrow.

Pasta Zanmai, One Utama

Pasta. Pasta. Pasta.

a food made from flour, water and sometimes egg which is cooked and usually served with a sauce. It is made in various shapes which have different names -
Spaghetti, lasagne, vermicelli, ravioli and canneloni are all types of pasta.
(Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

Pasta Zanmai is a "Japanese casual pasta restaurant" which serves of not only variety of pasta (soup-based, curry-based, cream-based, wafu-based etc), but also omurice (like our nasi pattaya), pizza and those little tidbits which can be found in sushi outlets (chicken katsu, grilled squid and yadayada). If Zanmai sounds familiar to you, then it's because it's under the same company as Sushi Zanmai and Sushi Zen.

The first time I ate in Pasta Zanmai, I had the squid ink pasta! Which wasn't horrible-/yucky-tasting or anything, but I would not want to order it again because I don't find it that special and it stained my teeth!

Definitely a NO-NO to order if you're there for a date. Okeh?

Was there for my second time with CawanMilo, because she wanted to try it (and it has been more than a year since I first tried) and one of her friends was like, "OHMYGOD diediedie oso you must go there waaannnn!"

Or something like that lah. She even called her (or him?) to ask for recommendations.

She went a little crayjee after looking at all the matcha desserts. Being a pharmacist must be tough. *salutes*

Both of us ordered the sesame sauce-based pasta - recommended by her friend and I remembered from my first tryout and some blogs that sesame sauce-based ones are the best!

She had the Ebi Tempura pasta

True enough they were really good, and the best thing about the sauce is, you won't get so jelak/icky as fast as cream-based sauces! Unlessla, you're crazy about cream-based sauces. =P

My half-broiled salmon pasta

Green Tea Latte and Milky Green Tea, which are actually the same thing, except that the latter is cold and topped with whipped cream and a small dollop of red beans. Both needed more matcha taste, IOO. (IOO = in our opinions. LOL.)

A plate of pasta can go about RM20-ish so be prepared to fork out more than that (unless you just have green tea as your drink and nothing else).

Go and try of you get bored of Western-styled pasta!
